Based on the rules determined by the player, all soldier classes, reinforcement/special units, and heroes and villains are available to play, but bots can only use soldier classes. The first team to totally deplete the enemy team's reinforcements wins. Two teams start out with a number of reinforcements that are determined by the player (anywhere between 25 and 999). Team Battle is very similar to Blast in the online multiplayer of Star Wars Battlefront II.
2.2 Starfighter Team Battle/Starfighter OnslaughtĬustom Arcade allows players to choose their map to play on (small portions of all maps in the game are available in Arcade), the game modes to play with (which are featured in Arcade Arcade modes are separate from online multiplayer modes), and the rules of the match (such as the number of AI bots, the difficulty of the AI bots, classes that can be used, etc.). And then there's always Visceral Games' Star Wars game although it might not be the stormtrooper-led story you wanted from Battlefront, with Amy Hennig in the lead it's sure to be something interesting. On the other hand, DICE has a pretty poor reputation for single-player experiences maybe it's all for the best. It is going to have "crafted missions" - possibly something similar to Titanfall's campaign - but that's probably not the narrative-driven experience fans of Battlefront 2 in particular were hoping for. This may be some consolation to fans disappointed by the news that Star Wars Battlefront won't have a single-player story campaign.
